Dress Up

Riley is definitely all girl. This morning she decided to dress up her stuffed animals. Monkey Joe on the left and Bear on the right. (Notice the matcing bows in all of their hair.)

Thank goodness Tucker is not old enough for her to play dress up with him yet. I don't know how Jeremy will feel when he comes home and Tucker has a matching bow in his hair also.

Cookout With Friends

The Kingerys' were nice enough to have all of us over last Thursday for a cookout. It was great seeing everyone, and Tucker enjoyed meeting everyone. Here are some pictures.
Tucker looking all snazzy for the big night. He wore this hat just for Kris.
Here's Riley getting reaquainted with Pat.

Smiles for Ross

Riley had a blast too - she loves to play in their Barbie Jeep, Caroline even taught her how to get out and kick the wheel to get it to turn. It was hilarious watching them do that!
Riley hanging out with the big girls.
Ross trying to teach her how to use the toy. She gave up on it pretty soon after this.
Riley playing with her first sparkler ever. She was OK with the sparklers, but was terrified of fireworks this year. She never wanted to leave the house because she didn't want to see fireworks.

Thanks Kris, Kate, and the girls for having us all over!

Summer Vacation Kickoff

Yesterday Jeremy had a training for school, so it felt like today was our first true day of his vacation. Since the weather was beautiful (72 degrees), we decided to take the kids to the zoo. Riley was definitely more excited than Tucker. He was a pretty good sport though. We are officially members at the zoo now. I guess we knew this time would come sooner or later.
Here is Tucker doing what he did most of the visit. The times he was awake he spent crying. I had to walk back and forth over the wood planked areas because it put him back to sleep. I think all the people and kids stressed him out a little.
Here's Riley doing her new favorite thing to do at the zoo - ride the carousel. She chose to ride the dolphin the first time.

Here she is amazed at the cheetahs. Actually that was a yawn - close to nap time.

This time she chose an elephant.

We took her to see the butterflies for the first time - she loved them!

We sure are glad Jeremy's on vacation now!

Our Cinderella

Since Riley was in my brother's wedding, she loves to wear her flower girl dress (pretty wedding) around the house. She also happened to want to play with the broom that day. I swear we don't work her too hard!

Isaac's 1st Birthday

We went to Evansville last weekend for Isaac's first birthday and got to spend some time with the family. Everyone was glad to see Tucker since they hadn't in quite awhile. Here are some pictures of our weekend.
Grandma Pat getting some time with Tucker.
Riley's favorite toy - the golf cart. If you can see Elmo, Bert, and Ernie had to go on all the rides with her.

Riley enjoying some books.

Spending some time with my grandpas.

The party was on Sunday, and a good time was had by all at the park. Here are some pictures from the big bash.....

Here is Josh pushing Adam on the "toy of the day". The kids really liked this one!

Here is what Tucker did during the whole party. He sure is a party animal!

The party was at the park, and it had a gigantic sandbox. The kids were down there all day. Needless to say, Riley had a bath when she got home. We had to drain the water once and then fill it back up because of all the sand on her. She had fun though!

Isaac seemed to really enjoy his cupcake.

Here's Jeremy feeding Riley's rice krispie treat (she wasn't a big fan) to Adam.

Visiting Terre Haute

On Jeremy's last week of work he had to stay late a few nights, so we took off to the Haute. While there we always have to do some shopping, so we took off to Old Navy. It was hard to shop because Riley fell in love with the manequins at the front of the store. She was talking to them, hugging them, and kissing them all. So of course we had to get her picture with her new friends. Can you tell which one is her? Of course, people are looking at us like we're crazy, and at this point, I turned and told my mom we needed to get her some real friends.
After shopping, this is how we found Tucker. Passed out watching TV. Such a guy!

Getting Ready for Father's Day

The week before Father's Day, the kids and I were busy getting ready. We had to make some crafts as gifts. We made handprints, painted, and posed for pictures.
Here's the one that made it into the frame ~
Here is Riley enjoying her paint job.

That's enough paint on the gifts - time for the fingers now!

Hard at work.
