My New Favorite Thing To Do

I have a new favorite toy. I have mastered walking with it, but prefer it to be used as a car. Dad started this game with me one day where he pushes me around on it as fast as he can. I love it! Unfortunately, it hurts mom and dad's backs so they won't do it all day long like I would like for them to. So of course this is the cause of many tantrums. The minute they stop, I start the crying fit. It doesn't work on them, but I'm going to try it on the grandparents. I think they'll fall for it!

Hangin with Daddy

The other night, daddy and I were hanging out together and he took some pictures.
Here I am watching basketball. I can't wait for the NCAA tournament!
Here I am sticking something in my mouth. There's a shocker! My top 4 teeth are all showing a little now, so of course there is something in my mouth at all times.
Here I am giving a hug to my piggy. I love to snuggle with my stuffed animals.
Here's a closeup. Aren't I adorable?

Exhausted!

Eating is exhausting! For the first time, I fell asleep eating in my highchair. Luckily, grammy was here to witness it because she said my mom use to do this all the time when she was a baby. Which doesn't surprise me because I think she still does.

Being Sick = New Toys

For all of my friends, just so you know, when you are sick grammys and grampys bring you gifts. Grammy had to come watch me when mom and dad went back to school because I couldn't go back to Ms. Tania's yet, so she spent Monday and Tuesday with me. She also brought me this cool car/walking device.
Here I am walking behind it with help from grammy and Simba of course.
Here I am sitting on it. After I learned to hold on.

Here I am trying it out for the first time before I learned to hold on. Thanks grammy and grampy for my new toy and for keeping me company while I was sick. Mommy and daddy like it when grammy comes to because when they got home from work dinner was ready and the house was clean. Thanks!

A Little Under the Weather

I have been a little under the weather the last week and a half. I developed quite a cough so mom took me to the doctor. The doctor said I have RSV, which is a respiratory virus. Mom of course got nervous so the doctor had to reassure her that I would be fine because I'm a tough girl. Since it is a virus they can't give me antibiotics, but they did make me use this scary looking thing. This is my breathing treatment machine. Don't worry it looks a lot scarier than it really is. I did pretty good with it. I did these for a full week, and now I'm doing much better. No more coughing. Thank goodness! Those of you who know my mom, I sounded like her when she laughs really hard.

Beautiful Toes!

We love Ms. Tania, our daycare provider. We couldn't have asked for anything more. She does so much with Riley. She even paints her toenails. They are a pretty pink right now. She is going to have wonderful sandal toes for the summer! Thanks Ms. Tania for being so great!

I'm 10 Months Old!

I can't believe how fast time is going. She's growing so quickly. Here are some 10 month pictures. This is her usual face. She is a very happy baby, but has started throwing some tantrums when you take something from her that she wants. We of course still think it's cute! I'm sure we won't for long though.
This is my serious working hard face.

Here's my I'm going to get into something face.

Another mischief face. She is actually starting to sometimes do the hands and knees crawl as seen here, but usually after a few movements resorts back to the army crawl. It's just faster that way.

My New Teeth

I've had my 2 bottom teeth for quite awhile, but now I'm getting my 4 top teeth.
Unfortunately, they're not all coming in at the same time so mom and dad think I look like a hillbilly - a cute one of course.
Here's mommy brushing my teeth - no cavities for me.
Here's a shot of my top tooth that's in.

There's a better one!

Random Moments

Since it's been awhile, we thought we'd just catch you up on some photos.
Here is me showing off my Shocks and how well I stand up.
Mom and dad got Wii Fit, and I think it is important for me to keep my girlie figure so I thought I needed to use it also. Here I am doing my yoga pose.

I don't know what mom and dad did without me. I had to help daddy put his new computer chair together. By the way, I love it! It spins and rolls around.

Here's me standing again. I try to pull up on everything. Unfortunately, this has caused me to get some bumps and bruises. I'm pretty tough though.

Here's me resting on the couch after a long, hard day of being a baby.

Grampy's Season Ending Injury

For those of you that don't know, my grampy claims he is quite the tennis star, but about a month ago when him and grammy were playing against some of their friends grampy tore his achilles. I guess he won't be winning Wimbledon anytime soon. The bad news was that he can't do a whole lot after his surgery, especially no more tennis for awhile. The good news is that his doctor is in Indy so they come more often to visit me.
Here we are at dinner. We do a lot of this when they visit. This is a lot easier now that I eat table food too. They order for me off the menu. I love chicken!
Here I am hanging out with him on the couch. He does a lot of this too when he visits.

Good Nap!

Mommy came into check on me during my nap one day, and this is what she saw.
Aren't my fingers adorable?
Then when I woke up this is what my hair looked like.
This is one way I can tell that I had a good nap!
