A New Favorite Toy

My parents sure like this thing, so I thought I needed to try it.
I understand why it's so popular, it is a fun toy!
Sometimes I even change the TV station.

I Tried Cereal!

At my 4 month doctor's appointment, my doctor said I could try to eat some cereal. Mom and dad of course had to videotape and take pictures. I really didn't see what the big deal was, but I did my best to make them cute.

I can make a pretty big mess with this stuff, I'm not quite sure of it yet, but I did a pretty good job for my first time.

Colts' Fans Everywhere!

Here we are having lunch before the big debut of Lucas Oil Stadium. I'm hanging out with Allison here.
Here are some views of the new stadium.

Here is my first picture in the Home of the Colts. I'll cherish it forever!

Here are some more views....

Here is a picture of the field from where we decided to sit and wait for the roof to open, but there seemed to be some technical difficulties because it did not open when it was supposed to, but we waited....
They opened the side so we still waited...
and waited......
But then, I couldn't wait anymore. Maybe next time.

So then my parents started to leave, and what do you know, the roof opened.
How cool is that? Notice the superbowl banner. It sure looks good!
(Hey Uncle Tommy, I can't remember do you have one of those?)

Happy 30th Birthday!

My parents had a busy weekend of surprise 30th birthday parties. Friday night they went to Kipp's party, but they left me at home with grammy. But on Saturday I got to go to Scott's birthday party, and there was a fun swingset. I didn't get to play on it, but Uncle Josh and mommy had a good time on it.

Look at this underdog by Shaun.

After all that fun on the swingset, it was time for some cake. Well, I'm taking a quick nap with Mindy, but Ty is having some cake with his daddy.

Here you go Uncle Josh, we finally made the blog together. And I have to say, what a cute picture it is!

My Blanket

For those of you that were worried, mom and dad did find me a new bed, and I like it better than my old one. Mom thought she better put a picture of it for proof that I'm not still sleeping in my pack and play.
Here are my pictures of my blanket and me. I love to have it by my face when I'm getting sleepy. Now that I'm 4 months my doctor says I should be able to soothe myself. Once I have my paci and my blanket, I am set.

Big Girl

Here I am in my gym. I'm getting to big for it. I want to sit up all the time now.

So my mom tried to sit me up on the couch, as you can see this didn't work so well!

So, here I am in my new chair that grammy got me. It lets me sit up by myself.

Another Visit to Evansville

I went to Evansville again to visit with family before mom and dad have to go back to work. I don't even want to talk about what they are going to do with me then. Mom and I went down on Wednesday morning, and I slept the whole way down. We stayed at grammy and grampy's house until Thursday night. We had so much fun sitting out on the screened in porch and watching the golfers. Sorry, I don't have any pictures from there, mommy was too busy relaxing. Grammy took me shopping though and bought me some fall clothes. I'm going to look sooo cool! Can you believe they had to buy me 6-12 month clothes? I'm just so long, pants all look like capris on me. That just won't cut it in the fall. Then daddy came down Thursday night, and we visited with his family until Saturday night. We drove home Saturday night after being at the reunion. I was such a good girl the whole time I was in Evansville. I let everyone hold me and feed me. Mom and dad were very proud of me. I had to make up for being so grumpy the last time. The ride home was a little difficult though. I was just exhausted from the busy weekend.
Here's my Uncle Ryan.

Here I am with Uncle Brandon.

Here I am relaxing with grandpa Keith.

Here's my cousin Connor. He got his haircut for the summer. We hardly recognized him. He looks so grown up. He doesn't even have a bald spot in the back of his head.

Here's my Aunt Kim.

Here I am with grandpa Jack. Thanks for babysitting me grandma and grandpa. It was fun! And now I don't have to hear my dad talking about that movie anymore.

Here's cousin Connor going down the slide at the reunion. I can't wait until I'm old enough to go swimming. It looks like fun!

Here I am with my great grandpa at the reunion. I slept and spit up on great grandma before this picture was taken. She always puts me to sleep. We didn't get any pictures of us though.

Here I am back at home the next day exhausted. I couldn't even stay awake to finish playing with my favorite toy. It does make a nice pillow though.

Eating With Daddy

I am now completely bottle fed. At first I was a little stubborn about the bottle. I would only take it from mom or dad, and I even gave them a hard time. I would usually throw a little tantrum, and they would have to feed me in my bouncy seat. I would usually stop about halfway through the bottle and decide to play with is instead, and I would make a mess. Then I would take the rest. Eating took quite awhile back then. I'm finally over this stage, and am doing wonderful on the bottle. Now I'm done eating in about 5 minutes. Way to go me! Here are some pictures of me during my stubborn stage.

I was a little upset at first, everytime dad would talk I would pucker up like this. Of course dad thought it was hilarious!
Here I am after I finished. What a mess! But it sure tasted good.

Sleeping

I am starting to worry about my bald spot on the back of my head so a couple of weeks ago I started to sleep on my side. Then I got down the rolling over from my back to my belly so now I'm constantly on my belly. For a girl who used to hate tummy time, I sure do a lot of it now. Surely, that hair will start growing back soon!
Notice I'm in my pack and play sleeping. My crib got recalled, so I have been sleeping in this until mom finds a crib she likes. She's starting to get frustrated because she isn't having any luck. Hopefully by the time I have hair, I'll be in a crib again.
Here I am on my side. Mom thinks I look really cute! Here I am about halfway between, but that silly arm is in the way. I do a lot of turning while I sleep.
And now I'm on my belly with my bottom up in the air.
