Summer Vacation Kickoff

Yesterday Jeremy had a training for school, so it felt like today was our first true day of his vacation. Since the weather was beautiful (72 degrees), we decided to take the kids to the zoo. Riley was definitely more excited than Tucker. He was a pretty good sport though. We are officially members at the zoo now. I guess we knew this time would come sooner or later.
Here is Tucker doing what he did most of the visit. The times he was awake he spent crying. I had to walk back and forth over the wood planked areas because it put him back to sleep. I think all the people and kids stressed him out a little.
Here's Riley doing her new favorite thing to do at the zoo - ride the carousel. She chose to ride the dolphin the first time.

Here she is amazed at the cheetahs. Actually that was a yawn - close to nap time.

This time she chose an elephant.

We took her to see the butterflies for the first time - she loved them!

We sure are glad Jeremy's on vacation now!

Our Cinderella

Since Riley was in my brother's wedding, she loves to wear her flower girl dress (pretty wedding) around the house. She also happened to want to play with the broom that day. I swear we don't work her too hard!

Isaac's 1st Birthday

We went to Evansville last weekend for Isaac's first birthday and got to spend some time with the family. Everyone was glad to see Tucker since they hadn't in quite awhile. Here are some pictures of our weekend.
Grandma Pat getting some time with Tucker.
Riley's favorite toy - the golf cart. If you can see Elmo, Bert, and Ernie had to go on all the rides with her.

Riley enjoying some books.

Spending some time with my grandpas.

The party was on Sunday, and a good time was had by all at the park. Here are some pictures from the big bash.....

Here is Josh pushing Adam on the "toy of the day". The kids really liked this one!

Here is what Tucker did during the whole party. He sure is a party animal!

The party was at the park, and it had a gigantic sandbox. The kids were down there all day. Needless to say, Riley had a bath when she got home. We had to drain the water once and then fill it back up because of all the sand on her. She had fun though!

Isaac seemed to really enjoy his cupcake.

Here's Jeremy feeding Riley's rice krispie treat (she wasn't a big fan) to Adam.

Visiting Terre Haute

On Jeremy's last week of work he had to stay late a few nights, so we took off to the Haute. While there we always have to do some shopping, so we took off to Old Navy. It was hard to shop because Riley fell in love with the manequins at the front of the store. She was talking to them, hugging them, and kissing them all. So of course we had to get her picture with her new friends. Can you tell which one is her? Of course, people are looking at us like we're crazy, and at this point, I turned and told my mom we needed to get her some real friends.
After shopping, this is how we found Tucker. Passed out watching TV. Such a guy!

Getting Ready for Father's Day

The week before Father's Day, the kids and I were busy getting ready. We had to make some crafts as gifts. We made handprints, painted, and posed for pictures.
Here's the one that made it into the frame ~
Here is Riley enjoying her paint job.

That's enough paint on the gifts - time for the fingers now!

Hard at work.

Hangin Around

We've been hanging around the house a lot lately. Here are some pics....
Riley modeling my sweatshirt. What a pose she has.
Jeremy getting some quality time with his little man.

Riley looking pretty all ready for church. They love her in the nursery, they say she is soo motherly to all the little ones. If only she was that gentle with Tucker. She does mother him though.

Caught smiling ~ He is a very happy baby and smiles a lot. He'll start little, and then break into this huge smile! It makes my day!

Uncle Bryan's Wedding

We had my brother, Bryan's wedding last weekend. We were honored to be a part of the special day and had a lot of fun! With having 2 little ones, of course I didn't get any pictures taken hardly at all, so as soon as we get them from the photographer I will post more because Jenny looked beautiful, and they make such a great couple! Here are some shots of Riley, the most beautiful flower girl!
Here's a family photo - don't mind that the top of Jeremy's head is cut off.

She did a great job being the flower girl - she wouldn't carry the basket down the aisle and throw the petals, but she did walk down and behave through most of the ceremony - only a little wandering.

We had some family over the day after so they could open their gifts and visit. Riley of course had to help open gifts.
Here's the happy couple!
Congratulations! We are so happy for you guys, and Jenny, welcome to the family!

Random Pics

Here are some random shots....
Here is a 1 month picture of him - I can't believe it's already been a month. It seems like we were just at the hospital. He had his appt. the other day and is doing well. He now weighs 10 pounds 9 ounces and is such a happy baby. We are so lucky to have him!

Here he is having some tummy time - He doesn't mind it as much as Riley does. In fact, half the time he just falls asleep.

We have a similar picture of Riley when she was this little, and they look very much alike.
Riley relaxing in her big girl bed, talking on the phone. She has now officially realized she can get out of her bed whenever she likes, which has made nap time a little difficult. She still does well at night time though - knock on wood!

Visit from Great Grandma and Grandpa

Great Grandpa and Grandma Holcomb came to visit Riley and Tucker. Here's Grandpa protecting Riley from Daddy.
Here he is reading to her.
Tucker of course, slept through most of the visit, but it was great seeing them!
