Fashion Statement

I have become a diva recently. I even like to make my own fashion statements. We have had wonderful weather for July the last week. It's only been in the low to mid 70's. This means it's a little chilly in the morning so daddy put my PJ pants on instead of my shorts. I of course found my shorts and wanted to put them on too, so this is what I wore for most of the day. Of course mommy wouldn't let me go out in public like this. I can't figure out why.

At least they match!

Miss Clean

We went to the Disney Store the other day to spend a giftcard that I got. I got some really neat stuff. One of the things being this vacuum cleaner. I always get really excited when mommy gets hers out, but now I have one of my very own. It even makes noises. (Mommy wishes it really worked because our house would be spotless!)

My First Haircut

This is me at my first haircut. We went to Cookie Cutters and I was really excited at first because they had a big slide in the waiting area and I got to sit in this cool fire truck while she cut my hair, but then they put this fish cape on me, and I was not a big fan!
Notice it's not on me anymore. I just got my bangs cut so they wouldn't hang in my eyes, and mommy reluctantly let them trim the back of my hair. She was scared that the curls would get cut off, but they weren't.

Here's the finished product and I got a balloon!

My Busy Weekend of Visiting

This weekend was a fun, busy one with lots of people who wanted to see me. I went to Grammy and Grampy's on Friday afternoon because daddy went to a golf outing out of town. Then Saturday Great Grandpa and Grandma came to see us. Daddy came later that day too. That night we went to see the Hall family, and then Sunday I got to see three-fourths of the Payne family. I loved visiting with everyone!
Here I am talking with great grandpa.

Here I am showing my toys to great grandma.

Here's Grampy and Great grandpa taking me on a ride in the golf cart. I love taking rides!

Here's Grammy pushing me on my toy.

We went over to Diane and Doug's house to visit with the Hall family. Aunt Gigi brought out Landon's toolbox and Landon was showing me his tools. Those that were wondering this is where the Michael Jackson glove came from. My parents really didn't buy that for me.

I even got to see Miss Betsy while we were there.

Doug has this cool bird that I wanted to see, but mommy was scared of it, and wouldn't let me get any closer. I got closer than she did though.

Aunt Gigi is trying to teach me how to use the leafblower.

This is my dedication picture to Micheal Jackson.

Here's Landon climbing the picnic table. And of course his mom behind him waiting to catch him.

Here's Landon and I sitting at Jacquelyn's old picnic table. It's just our size!

When we got home on Sunday, we went over to Mandy Kay's sister's house to see Mandy and Gracie. They were in town. Thanks Angie for letting us come over and sorry about the plant again. Gracie and Addie are dolls! Here's Riley climbing on the chair and talking to Gracie.
Here Angie was trying to take a picture of the 4 of us. As you can see they didn't turn out well, but I thought this one was hilarious. Mandy was trying to get Riley to laugh because she was mad that I was holding her. She obviously wanted to go play.

It was great seeing Mandy and Gracie. I wish we could see you more!

Do these fit?

My First Visit to the ER

Unfortunately, after my first trip to the zoo, I had my first trip to the emergency room. I was outside walking and mom was holding my hand when I went down a little hill. I fell, and it hurt my elbow. I ended up having what they call Nursemaid's Elbow. Mom and Dad took me to the ER since my doctor's office was closed and the nice doctor popped my elbow back into place. It took a couple minutes and then I was fine and using it again regularly. Then I had a really good time at the hospital. Mom didn't of course, she was a mess! Now I have something to hold over her until I'm old.
Here I am on the hospital bed. I wasn't on the bed except for picture purposes.
Here I am having a fun time at the hospital.

This is the bracelet they put on my ankle. I had to show it to everyone who walked in the room.
For those that are worried - don't worry I'm fine! And mom recuperated from the incident alright too!

Our Day at the Zoo with the Kingery's

We spent a nice summer day with the Kingery's at the zoo and going out to lunch. Here are some pictures of my first trip to the zoo.
Here was our first stop - the stingrays. Although you couldn't see them, I thought they were pretty cool!
People are allowed to pet the sharks, but there was a sign that said no splashing, so mom and dad didn't think I could obey that rule.

I had to get really close to the glass to see the penguins.

Here are some pictures mom took of the animals. She thinks she is quite the photographer.

Here I am with Kris looking at the giraffes.

They are constructing the cheetah exhibit right now for 2010. The big trucks and tractors I think were my favorite exhibit. I was amazed by them!

We then went to City Market downtown for lunch. I of course wouldn't eat my grilled cheese but ate all of my french fries of course. Here is the administrator's walk that Kris showed me.
Here are Ella, Caroline, and me. Thanks for such a fun time!

4th of July in Cali

Jeremy and I went on our first vacation without the little one. We went to Long Beach, California with Tommy and Jennifer to visit Jenny and Tony. We left on July 1st and came back on the 5th. We had a BLAST! Of course we missed our little one, but enjoyed being with our friends in such a beautiful place.
Here are Jeremy and Tommy (above) and Tony (below) in Laguna Beach at the Rooftop Bar. It was absolutely beautiful! No, we didn't see LC though.

Here are the girls at the same place - with our blankets. The weather there was around 75 during the day, no humidity, but got a little cooler when the sun went down. The restaurants had blankets for you.

We did think of Riley while we were there. We went to a restaurant named Riley's on the 4th of July and Jenny bought us shirts for the occasion.
We had a WONDERFUL time! Thanks Jenny and Tony for having us!
