My 1st Birthday Party

Last Sunday, we had my first birthday party at Grammy and Grampy's house in Terre Haute. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, but I had a blast anyways, and I even bribed some people into taking me outside in between showers. All the family came to celebrate with me, and it was a good time. Here are some pictures....
Here I am right before the party, wondering why mom is already chasing me around with the camera.

Am I a big girl or what?

I love these balloon things!

I didn't get pictures of everyone there, but I did want to show my 3 cousins that were there. Connor is on the couch, mystery cousin #2 is in my Aunt Kim's belly and below is Adam, in my Aunt Amy's belly. Aren't they cute?

For those of you who couldn't hear, I am whispering to Samuel that this getting gifts is AWESOME! His first birthday is right around the corner.

Here I am showing Ella Kingery one of my new books.

Here I am in my new lawn chair. I love it!!

I'm not sure what's going on, but they stripped me down to my diaper and put me in my highchair, and everyone is staring at me!

Here's mom trying to convince me that it's not that bad.

Obviously not a big fan of cake or eating with just a diaper on in front of a lot of people!

Here I am getting a quick bath after the cake eating tragedy.

Oh! That Jenny is so funny!

Here I am after the party and my nap, wondering where everyone went. At least the balloons were still there, and the presents! Thanks everyone for coming and for all of my cool stuff! I am set for the summer!

Big Girl = Big Bath

Now that I'm a big girl, I need the big bathtub. Mom and dad got out all my big bath toys (not seen in the picture), and I loved it! Bath time is a new favorite! Which is probably a good thing considering the messes I make while I eat.

My job is never done....

While mom is cooking (which doesn't happen often) I have to entertain myself. So of course I decide to re-organize the cabinets and drawers. I usually put the tupperware containers on the floor, where they can easily be found. Then I put the pots in the drawers with the lids of course. I don't know why mom and dad don't like my organization techniques. I think it makes complete sense!
I gues I can stop my job and pose for a picture, but not for long, there is a lot of work to do.

I'm ONE!!!

On Monday, our little baby turned 1 year old. I can't believe it has been a year already. We have enjoyed every moment of her. We have truly been blessed with our little angel. She makes every day wonderful, and makes me smile constantly. I never imagined I could love anyone so much! Happy birthday!

Here I am a big girl. Notice my bib. It says it all!

Grammy and Grampy were in town for Grampy's tendon therapy, so we had dinner on my birthday. Thanks for coming and spending the afternoon/evening with me!
Here I am smiling because Grammy and Grampy gave me this great bib and Alphabet Pal that sings. I love to dance, so we will get along great! Thanks for the gifts!
The restaurant was not busy at all so Grampy thought we should dance. Isn't it nice that my parents rented out the whole restaurant for me on my birthday?
My birthday party is Sunday, so stay tuned for more birthday pictures.

My First Trip to Denver

We went to Denver the for a long weekend the first weekend of April. My Aunt Jenny became Mrs. Nargi there. We flew in on Thursday morning (early). We couldn't check in for about 4 hours. I did wonderful on the plane. I didn't fuss at all and kept myself busy with my books. When we got to Denver we were all tired, but since we couldn't get into our rooms, we had to find some things to do which included playing in the hotel lobby for an hour and a half. That night Landon and I had a dinner date set. Here we are eating dinner. We made quite the mess on the floor, but had fun!
Here we are heading back to the hotel for bed, though our daddies were going to the Nuggets game.
Late Thurs. night my Grammy and Grampy got there. Here I am reading the paper with Grammy that next morning. I sure am glad they came to the wedding. I had a lot of fun with them, especially since my parents were a little busy. I spent a lot of time with them. I even slept in their room. Thanks for hanging out with me!
Here I am at the wedding in my little pink tutu. Of course mom had a headband on me too, but was not surprised when it came off in the first 5 minutes. Landon and I found some rocks so we had to throw them out all over the floor. This kept us entertained for quite a while.
Notice what I was doing with the rocks. Aren't we a cute couple?

Here's mom and Auntie Jennifer with the beautiful bride. Thanks Aunt Jenny for a wonderful weekend! I had a blast! I still can't figure out why mom made Grammy take me out during the maid of honor speech. I was just laughing because it was so funny. I guess mom thought I was causing a scene.

Here I am in the airport before our flight home. Mom and dad meant to get a picture of me on the flight, but get to preoccupied with sleeping I guess. Don't worry I did greet everyone that boarded the plane with my famous hi. Here I am when we got home. Daddy was unpacking and I obviously decided a suitcase is a new fun toy. I kept crawling in it and laughing hysterically.

I had a great first trip! Mom and dad learned that I am going to be a world traveler! (At least, that's what the guy next to me on the plane said since I did so good!) I think I'm better at it than mom. I can't wait for the next trip!

My Trip to Evansville Continued....

The next stops on the Evansville tour were at Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kim's, and then to Grandma Mary and Grandpa Keith's, and finally to Great Grandma and Grandpa's house. Here I am chasing Cousin Connor on his fun toys. We both loved this game, but daddy got a little tired.
I really like this motorcycle. It played music and everything. I think I probably wore the batteries out on the music. Thanks for sharing your toys with me Connor.
Here's Aunt Kim playing with us.
Here I am having fun with Uncle Brandon. Man, am I cheesin it up!
Here's Connor and I sharing my laptop with Uncle Ryan. We all had some blogging to do.
It was great seeing everyone! What a fun weekend!

Hanging out at Mamaw and Papaw's

During my mom and dad's spring break, we went to Evansville. Our first stop was at Mamaw and Papaw's house. Here I am looking out the window with mamaw.
Here's me and Papaw hanging out.
Here is me trying to get the dogs. I was very excited to see them!

Here's Mamaw getting some loves from me. I get a lot of these in Evansville.
It was great seeing you!

What a nap!

I am such a good napper these days, as you can tell. Don't I look comfortable?

NCAA Tournament

I wasn't real sure about this NCAA tournament thing until mom and dad took me to meet up with Uncle Bryan and Jenny and Pat, Darren, and Melissa. Man, did I have fun! I was up way past my bedtime, but it was worth it to play with straws and cell phones! Maybe one of these days I can watch IU in the tournament. That would be nice!
