My 1st Christmas

Here I am bright and early Christmas Eve morning. (Which was when we had our own family Christmas. Since we were leaving for Evansville that afternoon.)
It was so nice for Santa to come a night early for me.
I must have been a really good girl this year!
As you can see, I don't know what to expect.
I'm sure in a couple of years I'll be up at 4:00 am to open gifts.
I hope mom and dad enjoyed sleeping in this year.
This is one of the things I found in my stocking.
I'm not sure what it is yet.
Oh WoW! It is my own set of keys that make noise.
I love them!
Here I am opening my gift from mom and dad.
Dad had to help me with the paper.
I haven't mastered the art of unwrapping gifts yet.
Here's my last toy that Santa hid.
When daddy brought it out, I wasn't too sure about it.
Here I am checking it out.

Getting a little braver.

Ok, I love this thing.
It makes noises and has little balls that I can play with.

Daddy decided to try his new hat on me.
Am I cool or what?

Thanks Santa for a wonderful Christmas!
I'm already excited for next year!

1 Down, 5 To Go

Being such a popular baby, I have a lot of family get togethers during the holiday season. I am so lucky! This is a couple pictures of me at my grampy's parents house. It was a lot of fun! I got to see my cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and great grandparents. I even got to meet my Great Aunt Sharon and Uncle Russ for the first time.
This is a family pic of mom, dad, me, Grampy, Grammy, Uncle Bryan, and Jenny.
What a fun family!
Here is a four generation picture. My great grandparents, grampy, mommy, and of course me. Sorry about the low quality, daddy's not a photographer either.

Dangerous Headbands!

This looks like a cute headband and bow, but....
since it was new mom wanted to put it on right away with my Christmas outfit.
I, of course had to test it out. I pulled on it, and WAP! It got me right in the eye.
This made me very sad, and I have flashbacks everytime mom tries to put the headband back on. Elastic is definitely not my friend!

Christmas Pictures

Mommy decided to be a photographer and capture some Christmas pics of me.
Here's what she came out with. (Notice the change in outfits halfway through.)
I didn't have the heart to tell her she's not really a photographer.
This is me flying.
Here I am getting an early start opening gifts.
A girl's gotta get a little practice before the big day!

Here's a couple of poses.

Time to switch outfits! Not my favorite part.
Here I am with my bow and santa outfit.
The bow doesn't stay in my hair long because
I don't have enough hair to hold it.
Picture time is finally over. Don't worry there were tons more.
They just didn't all make the blog.

My First Snow

Mom and I got up this morning to eat, and an hour and a half later when we looked outside for the first time, we saw this. I just stared out the window at it in amazement.
So when daddy woke up he decided to take me out in it.
At first, I wasn't real sure about it. It was a little cold and wet, and of course mom is taking pictures again.
But then, I got excited! This stuff is fun!
I can't wait until next year when I'm old enough to build a snowman.

Thanksgiving

Ok, contrary to the looks of things, we actually had 2 Thanksgivings we went to, and lots of visiting time with family, but this is the only picture that came out of almost 4 whole days in Evansville. This is my cousin Connor holding me.
Aren't we just the cutest cousins?
Oh, and that's my Uncle Ryan's legs behind us.
I guess they didn't think we could do this by ourselves.

Oh Christmas Tree!

Mom and Dad put up the Christmas tree last week.
Here I am investigating.
I started with just staring at the lights.
Then I decided I needed to get a little closer.
And here I am trying to eat the tree.
I think I'm going to wear mom and dad out trying
to get into everything this holiday season.

My Buddy

Whenever Grammy comes to visit, she brings Simba.
I get really excited when I see him.
This is us watching TV together.
I usually just stare at him, but I decided to pet him this time,
or just grab his hair and pull.
Thanks for putting up with me pulling your hair out!

Just like Mom

Here I am taking after my mom. I can be rolling around playing,
and then all of the sudden I'm sound asleep.

Don't I look comfortable?

The Colts are on a Roll!

Here I am showing my Colts' spirit. I think I'm a good luck charm.
They sure are on a roll now.

Seven Months Old

I am now 7 months old. Mommy can't believe it. Of course, I'm wearing 9-12 month clothes because I'm off the charts in height and weight. Mommy says this is a wonderful time. I'm a very happy baby, always smiling, and have quite the personality. I do say baba now. I don't know what it means, but I say it a lot.

I also woke up a few weeks ago, around 6 and a half months, with 2 teeth on the bottom. You can see them in this picture. Mom and dad were surprised how quickly they came in, especially since I wasn't even fussy. I want to chew on everything now!

My First Taste of Prunes!

I'm really loving this baby food thing - except green beans that is.
The other day, mommy and daddy went to buy me prunes to try -
I'm not going to share why - that would be embarrassing!
Anyways, I loved them, but they do make a mess!
Here are the pictures to prove it.

I finished up with some sweet potatoes - one of my favorites!
For those of you wondering - the prunes did their job.

My Visitors

Sorry, it's been awhile - mommy's been lazy.
A few weeks ago, my cousins Christian and Samuel came to visit.
It was fun staring at them!

As you can see, Christian didn't get in the pictures - he can walk away from the camera, unlike Samuel and me.

Mischief anyone?

Now that I can roll all around, I have started getting into things.
My new favorite things are the DVDs.

This is so much fun!
I still just can't seem to find the one I want.
I'm sure I'll try again later!

My 1st Halloween

Grammy and mommy went shopping on Sunday.
They decided I needed a Halloween costume.
This is what they came home with.

Aren't I the cutest little flower ever?

They just can't get enough!

Grams and Gramps came to visit this past weekend.
They think I am wonderful!
I can't say I disagree.

What is going on here?
Thanks for coming to visit. I always enjoy being spoiled!

I Keep Growing Up!

Not only am I off the charts in height, but I now can also hold my own bottle.
Here are some pictures of me being a big girl!

What I do while mom blogs

In case anyone is wondering what mommy does with me while she blogs,
this should answer your question. I lay on the bed next to her and catch up on my sleep.

I'm 6 months old!

Today was my 6 month birthday, so mom decided to take some pictures of me.
There's a surprise! Here's what I gave her.
Are you serious mom? More pictures.
I'm not real sure what is going on here.

Is this a good one?

Now, I think I need the camera.

OK, here is the last pose mom.

The Big Birthday Bash!

Sunday was the big birthday bash!
Here's the birthday boy holding his niece and nephew.
Those bright lights are really neat!

Here was Connor and I having a staring contest.
No, that is not a belly shirt I'm just pulling it up.
Daddy said I need to only wear onesies because I am not allowed to show off my belly.
Here I am enjoying time with Aunt Kim.
I also want to wish a Happy Birthday to my Uncle Bryan to. His birthday is the same day as Uncle Brandon's. I'm sorry I couldn't see you! I hope to see you soon!
